5 ways to move from ‘Vision’ to “Action” in 2015

There is no question Visualization helps you achieve your Dreams.

Many top athletes around the world have used it to improve their performances — without ever physically hitting a ball or making a shot. It has been proven to work, and I encourage everyone who has a goal to begin visualizing that you have already achieved it.

Also, proper planning is also incredibly important, however success — in this dimension at least — does not come from Planning and Visualization alone, it comes from Action. So here are some useful tips to help you move yourself from ‘Vision’ to “Action”

(1) Begin

The best way to get started is to actually get started.

Lao Tzu once said “the journey of a thousand miles begins with one step’ and it is so true. To move from Vision to Action to first have to at first move. So whatever it is that you have been putting off, simply begin today.

If you wait for that perfect moment to begin, then you will always be waiting!

(2) Have Faith

Having faith is the next step towards Action. MLK encouraged people to “take the first step in Faith. You do not have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step”

You do not always need to have a fully backed plan, sometimes you simply need to begin and take that first step in Faith.

(3) Work Hard

Michael Jordan once said that he always felt that if he put in the hard work then success would come, and while working hard is no guarantee of success, not working hard is usually a guarantee of failure.

Now I am not suggesting the type of hard work that gives you no time for anything else… i believe Balance is the true mark of success…. but none the less to move from vision to action you must work hard.

The Universe can not be cheated. He knows your intentions. Hard work is often rewarded.

(4) Expect Failure

Thomas Edison once said:” I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work”

Similarly, Winston Churchill once defined success as ” the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm”

So if these great men knew that failing was a part of winning, then we all must also incorporate this into our plans for Action. Expect some type of failure, but keep the lessons that come with it.

(5) Keep Going

Winston Churchill once said “If you are going through hell, keep going”.
He also once famously made a speech (October 29, 1941) to a group of students at Harrow School, just outside of London, and he simply stood up before the students and informed them that if you want to succeed you must “Never give up, Never, ever, ever give up’
If you want to succeed in something you must never give up…….but you first also must Begin. So I encourage you to stop putting off whatever is it that you want to do, and simply Begin, then be Mindful of the other lessons in this blog.
Success isn’t given, it is earned……and to earn success you must take that first step and begin.
Namaste x
